Salalah Rotana Resort anticipates continued growth this year due to the impact of the monsoon season, locally called Khareef, on guest arrivals and revenues.

Salalah Rotana Resort general manager, Hossam Kamal said: “The Governorate of Dhofar is rich in various natural elements that contribute to the creation of an attractive environment for tourists and visitors from inside and outside the Sultanate. The Salalah Tourism Festival is one of the main destinations that attracts tourists and visitors to the governorate every year. The festival plays an important role in promoting the national economy and the revitalisation of tourism, cultural and commercial movement in the province.”

The five-star waterfront resort provides service ‘synonymous with the Rotana brand, infused with traditional Omani hospitality’. Salalah Rotana Resort is displaying details on its online channels ahead of Khareef to inform visitors about the season and the destination.

The resort also features a selection of tours to explore the city of Salalah with trips to Wadi Darbat, Jebel Samhan nature reserve, Mughsail beach, Al Marneef cave and more.
