Les Clefs d’Or UAE has made Fairmont the Palm’s concierge supervisor Stephen Simiyu and Intercontinental Jeddah’s chief concierge Yasser Yassin 02 members of the organisation.
As part of the inauguration, Les Clefs d’Or UAE held a ceremony at Fairmont the Palm on the 24 June 2019 for Simiyu and Yassin to welcome them to the highest member level of the association.
02 members are internationally recognised accolades for concierges and are a “symbol of excellence”, according to the organisation.
Les Clefs d’Or UAE’s national president Abey Sam and Fairmont the Palm’s hotel manager Steven Stefaniuk conducted speeches at the event before the official pinning ceremony commenced.
Commenting on the accolade, Simiyu said his concierge journey has only just begun.
“I shall keep pushing myself and reach my goals. I will motivate my team members to achieve outstanding results,” said Simiyu.
While, Yassin said he looked forward to a great career in this industry.
“Building a team and watching people develop always gives me a great feeling of joy and accomplishment,” said Yassin.
Les Clef d’Or UAE has partnered with Hotelier Middle East to launch the Concierge Mastermind of the Year competition, which an event designed for Dubai-based concierges to be recognised for their efforts.
