Hospitality group Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has partnered with ESSEC Business School in France to launch full scholarships for its employees.

According to IHCL, two employees will be chosen every year for a 21-month long fully paid MSc in hospitality management.

“We have always believed in creating a strong talent pipeline by enabling and empowering our employees with the best of learning and development initiatives. Our collaboration with ESSEC Business School is a vital step in that direction and in line with our vision to create future leaders for the global hospitality industry in general and to build a talent pipeline for IHCL in particular,” said Puneet Chhatwal, MD and CEO, IHCL.

For now, the initiative will run for three years and could be renewed further, officials revealed.

The programme will be a mix of academics and hands-on field experience which includes areas such as e-commerce, real estate and development, entrepreneurship and luxury services management.

In addition to the full tuition fees, IHCL will also cover accommodation and living expenses for the selected employees.
