Three Hilton hotels in Lebanon have reportedly organised a clean-up of the Ramlet Al Baida beach in Beirut to mark the 100th anniversary of the hotel group.

Volunteers from the three Hilton hotels in Lebanon - Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand, Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace and Hilton Beirut Downtown gathered in the early hours of morning to clean up Ramlet Al-Baida beach.

The hotel group also hosted a cocktail reception featuring a host of hospitality guests, including the governor of Beirut, senior executives from Hilton Hotels, as well as business partners.

“Whilst we are incredibly proud of this achievement, we are also humbled by the fact that few companies reach this major milestone,” said Hilton’s vice president and commercial director for EMEA Stijn Bastiaens.

“We know we never could have made it without the help and support of countless people along the way. We owe our longevity to our loyal customers, suppliers, employees, press and of course the governments and communities we've worked with over the years.”
