Radisson Blu is continuing to grow its African hotel pipeline by making its debut in Algeria’s capital Algiers.
The Algiers property features 140 rooms including standard and business class rooms, as well as junior, one bedroom and presidential suites.
The hotel also has an array of F&B concepts available such as its Ziride Restaurant and Coffee Lounge.
Located in the Hydra municipality, the hotel group’s complex will target business and leisure travellers, with just a 20 minutes’ drive from Houari Boumediene Airport and being within close proximity of several tourist attractions.
Radisson Hotel Group’s area senior vice president for the Middle East & Africa, Tim Cordon, said the hotel addition to the region is part of Algeria’s plan to develop its travel and tourism industry.
“The hotel is a perfect addition to our fast-growing African portfolio, as we continue to bring our collection of world-class brands to the continent’s most dynamic destinations,” said Cordon. “I’m confident that the Radisson Blu Hotel, Algiers Hydra will become a popular place to stay for business and leisure travellers in this captivating city.”
The Radisson Hotel Group has more than 1,400 hotels in operation and under development around the world.
