Kempinski Hotel Muscat is promoting its staycation offers with the launch of its latest restaurant, ‘The Countdown Sports Lounge’.
With a seating capacity of 260 people, the lounge is one of the largest in Muscat. It offers an oversized outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and inside are a number of televisions.
Helmed by chef Nicolas Madueno, the menu consists of steaks, wings, tacos, burgers and ribs.
The new opening sits alongside more than nine other eateries on the premises. The hotel also houses ‘Zale’ which is a Greek eatery, as well as Soi Soi, and Bukhara. Soi Soi offers Bangkok street-food style dishes while Bukhara offers north Indian cuisine.
The hotel also sports the ‘1897’ cigar lounge and the Boulevard Tea House.
Kempinski Muscat boasts its own entertainment centre complete with a clubhouse for children, bowling and other games. For grown-ups there is an expansive infinity pool.
The Muscat hotel houses 310 rooms and suites and 77 villas.
