Rowe has curated the menu for Nassau, a Mediterranean restaurant at Jumeirah Golf Estates, and is also launching a sister café called Al Botanica, focusing on fresh and healthy food.
Nassau, due to open on November 27, draws on Rowe’s eclectic European-Arabian heritage to offer dishes that traverse the Southern Mediterranean coastlines all the way to the Middle East and beyond.
“We are thrilled to be launching Nassau just in time for Dubai’s winter season” says Jumierah Golf Estates’ managing director, Ismail Sharif, “The new restaurant is part of a reinvigoration of Jumierah Golf Estates including recent upgrades to our Fire Course by Greg Norman and club house facilities and we look forward to unveiling this wonderful new culinary addition to residents and visitors alike.”
Main courses created by Row include a 48-hour slow-cooked Ottoman-style shoulder of lamb with a truffled celeriac puree, a seared spiced golden sea bass fillet with tomato-chilli pickle, and roasted aubergine and sautéed kale lasagne.
Healthy options are Al Botanica include breakfast of acai or avocado on toast, a range of power juice shots, and a variety of salads and more substantial meals for lunch.
The dessert menu calls on Rowe’s singular talents for creating tasty dishes without sugar or gluten, for a number of rich and creamy dishes that you’ll be surprised to learn are so healthy.
