ibis across India is working to improve its customer experience with restaurant openings, music events and hotel design overhauls.
The Accor-owned brand explained that it has undergone a transformation in India over the last two years.
The hotel’s New Delhi Aerocity venue on November 15 hosted a music event as part of the brand’s wider ‘ibis Music’ campaign with Sony Music.
ibis music was launched this year to market the hotels as social hubs and promote greater cohesion with the local community. The campaign includes a music hour, gigs, and a number of artist bookings across its properties in Gurugram, Pune, Navi Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Jaipur and New Delhi.
Other overhauls to the Indian set of hotels include the ‘ibism’ campaign last year. Marketed as a cultural movement, the campaign saw employees wear new chic uniforms and F&B offerings were changed to be more modern and fun.
Finally, the ibis notes it has transformed its Spice It F&B outlets across all 19 properties. The venues serve local and international cuisine, comprised both of a la carte menus and buffets. It assures its eateries have been re-made to have vibrant décor and a livelier ambience.
