UAE has joined a host of countries whose nationals are eligible for visa on arrival in India.
The visa is available at six designated airports in the country - Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkota - where nationals can obtain a visa based on the submission of their prescribed application.
UAE nationals will can access a 60-day visa on arrival, with double entry for business, tourism, conference and medical purposes.
However, the Bureau of Immigration revealed that this facility, will only be available to those Emiratis who have earlier obtained an e-visa or paper visa to visit India.
Which means citizens from UAE who haven't visited India previously will have to apply for the regular visa or e-visa prior to arriving.
