The collaboration will see Gulf Air and BIC offering special reduced prices on air and race tickets and BTEA facilitating hotel accommodation and tourist entry visas to Bahrain, sister publication Arabian Business reported.
Available for purchase from Gulf Air’s website - www.gulfair.com/f1 - the Formula 1 packages will be available for customers flying to Bahrain from London, Moscow, Paris, Frankfurt, Baku, Karachi, Lahore, Mumbai, Delhi, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh, Jeddah and Madinah.
Mohamed Adel Jamsheer, Gulf Air’s director of marketing and digital, said: “We are happy to work hand in hand with BTEA and BIC to promote the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2020 as an event and the kingdom of Bahrain as a tourist and stopover destination.
"The F1 packages will offer passengers the opportunity to attend the biggest event of Bahrain’s annual calendar by flying into the Kingdom from many of Gulf Air’s destinations. Our client base in Europe, Asia and the GCC will be able to choose a wide range of packages that are differently priced to suit every budget."
Gulf Air has been the title sponsor of the Bahrain Grand Prix since it made history as the first F1 race to be held in the Middle East in 2004.
