This agreement marks the third signing in of IHG’s upscale brand Voco in Saudi Arabia within nine months and follows the recent announcement of the signing of world’s largest Voco in Makkah.
The 681-key hotel that is expected to open in January 2021, will be IHG’s sixth hotel in Jeddah and the fifth brand from the IHG family.
Voco Jeddah Gate will offer MICE facilities, including four meeting rooms to accommodate up to 600 guests and two dining options.

IHG currently operates 92 hotels across seven brands in the Middle East, including InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, Voco and Six Senses, with a further 38 in the development pipeline due to open within the next three to five years.
