According to this year’s InterNations Expat survey, Bahrain has been ranked as the best destination for expats to work, live, and raise a family in the Middle East and North Africa.
In the survey, Bahrain finished first or second in the region across all the key metrics. It came first in the region for ease of settling in, quality of family life and cost of living.
Bahrain ranked second in personal finance, working abroad and quality of life. The personal finance metric covers an individual's financial situation and level of disposable income. The working abroad criteria covers three areas – career prospects and satisfaction, work and leisure and economy and job security.
