Kuwait's Jazeera Airways to launch premium economy on flights to London Gatwick

Kuwait's low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has introduced its new premium economy class on its flights to London Gatwick.

Passengers in premium economy can avail of additional legroom, with a 31-inch seat pitch as well as a guarantee that the middle seat will be kept free - in a 3-3, single aisle configuration on its A320neo aircraft, sister publication Arabian Business reported.

The airline said it will also provide dedicated check-in counters, priority boarding and the flexibility with free changes to flights, as well as complimentary hot meals on board. Premium economy passengers will also have 40 kilos in baggage allowance.

The first flight with the new cabin configuration starts on its flights to London Gatwick on October 27 this year, landing at the airport’s South Terminal, which has access to the Gatwick Express train to central London.

Jazeera Airways’ A320neo will also feature business class with a 33-inch seat pitch andeconomy class with a 29/30-inch seat pitch.
