Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, a part of Accor Hotel's network, is launching its first luxury serviced long-stay apartments in Riyadh — Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences — in partnership with Naif Alrajhi Investment Company.

The property that is set to open in 2020, will comprise 249 serviced residences featuring one, two and three-bedroom units and four-bedroom penthouses, with ample space and maximise comfort.

The property is targeting both business and leisure guests.

Speaking about the property, Mark Willis, chief executive officer at Accor Middle East and Africa, said: “As Saudi Arabia further strengthens its economy, there is greater demand for luxury long-stay accommodation with amenities and services catering for both leisure and business travellers. The launch of Fairmont’s serviced residence concept is aimed to help bridge this gap in the market.”

Naif Saleh Alrajhi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Naif Alrajhi Investment commented: “Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences, Riyadh symbolizes the start of an important and fruitful relationship with Accor. We are delighted to partner with Accor, and their unparalleled presence in Saudi Arabia, to further expand and diversify our real estate portfolio through the launch of the region’s first standalone Fairmont serviced residences. We are confident that the property will become an unforgettable, landmark luxury destination in the Kingdom through its services, dining options and bespoke amenities.”

The development will also feature a “food and beverage plaza” with three specialty dining concepts. The project will also include a cinema room, lounge and kid’s play area.
