CapitaLand names CEO of lodging

Kevin Goh, the CEO of lodging company The Ascott Limited since 2018, has been given the additional role of CEO of CapitaLand’s lodging division.

In his new role, Goh will oversee the CapitaLand Group’s lodging business, responsible for executing a number of growth strategies in the group and combining his knowledge from CapitaLand-owned The Ascott Limited.

The Ascott Limited currently has 26 properties in operation and the pipeline across the Middle East, Africa and Turkey region. Under the leadership of Goh, Ascott aims to become one of the largest international lodging operators in Middle East, Africa and Turkey region.

Ascott’s current portfolio comprises 11 operational properties, including: Ascott Park Place Dubai, Citadines Metro Central Dubai, Ascott Corniche Al Khobar, Ascott Sari Jeddah, Ascott Tahlia Jeddah, Citadines Al Salamah Jeddah, Spectrums Residence Jeddah, Ascott Rafal Olaya Riyadh, Somerset Panorama Muscat, Somerset Al Fateh and Somerset Maslak Istanbul.

Pipelined projects set to open in 2020 include Citadines Al Ghubrah Musat, Ascott Villas Riyadh, Somerset City Centre Atyrau, Somerset Downtown Al Khobar (KSA), as well as Citadines Culture Village in Duai.
