Digital travel platform Agoda has rolled out a long-term stay feature for its users.
Capitalising on the growing trend of long-term stays, the feature allows users to book stays of more than 30 days and up to 90 days. The platform highlighted that the service will benefit those on gap years, those temporarily relocating for work or older guests.
According to Agoda, the extended booking option will help its accommodation partners boost occupancy during low travel periods. It will also give accommodation partners a smaller guest turnover to manage.
Agoda Homes director of product David Salamon said: "With the growing popularity of Agoda Homes, we continue to identify ways to optimise occupancy for our accommodation partners, driving us to innovate new features that deliver additional revenue while also improving our travelers’ user experience.”
He added: “Agoda is passionate about making it easier for travelers to find a great choice of accommodation for their needs. Whether they want a beach villa, a big apartment, or something in between, Agoda now enables travelers to book longer stays, without the hassle of stitching together multiple bookings.”
