The Seatrade ShipTech Middle East, to be held during 23-24 September 2019, will provide an essential platform for debate on what the future looks like for the maritime industry.The advisory panel, which includes Talal A Bakheet, former acting president, Vela International Marine, Zahid Rahman, CEO, Faras Al Bahr Consultancy Services, Capt. Mohamed Al Ali, senior vice president, ship management, ADNOC Logistics & Services, Capt. Tony Field, vice president, Middle East and Africa, marine and offshore, Lloyd’s Register, and Ali Abduljalil Shehab, acting CEO, Kuwait Oil Tanker Company, will be instrumental in helping to position the event as the knowledge hub of technological advancements for the shipping sector.
Joining these members will be Chris Hayman, chairman, Seatrade, who has been involved in the development of the Seatrade brand since 1986. With over 30 years of industry knowledge, Hayman makes the perfect addition to the advisory panel.Hayman said: “I have seen the impressive progress that ShipTech Middle East has been making since its launch in 2008, and so I am delighted to be able to get involved with this new chapter now that Seatrade has taken the reins of this important event.”
