Gazprom Neft and Sberbank have entered into a cooperation agreement on innovation. The agreement was signed by Andrei Belevtsev, Gazprom Neft’s chief digital transformation officer, and Anatoly Popov, Sberbank’s deputy chairman of the executive board during the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The companies will focus on jointly developing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, platform solutions, technological communication platforms and cyber-security.
The agreement sets out that Sberbank (and the businesses that form its wider ecosystem) will provide Gazprom Neft with a range of services.Belevtsev noted: “Our company is developing a business-process management platform, based on advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence. Alongside leading market players from various industries, we are expanding on the experience we have gained implementing breakthrough technological solutions in line with the complex specifications of major businesses.”
Popov commented: “We are interested to share our expertise and skills in innovative technologies, and to develop further collaboration with key partners in the high-tech sector. This new agreement with Gazprom Neft will broaden Sberbank’s scope for non-banking services.”
