Regional VAD Spectrami, has expanded it operations into Turkey.
According to the Dubai-based specialist security distributor, the move is part of a broader strategy of building on the plan to achieve $100m in sales revenue over the next three years.
The expansion into Turkey comes at a time when Spectrami is looking to cement its business footprint in the EMEA market and comes on the back of the company setting up operations in Germany and UK.
Anand Choudha, CEO, said: "Turkey, like most developed countries, is forming a cyber security strategy in operations and cyber criminal cyber security, cyber crime, intelligence activities and cyber-espionage, crisis management, management of the Internet and cyber tipline."
Choudha added that cyber awareness in Turkey has increased dramatically in the past 10 years and Spectrami will help organisations in that country to plan and execute an integrated cyber security approach to harness the power of information networks and enhance business operations. "Turkey has historically been the crossroads for all trade between Asia and Europe," he said. "While those borders are only symbolic in today's day and age, Turkey as a market is evolving quite steadily. It provides us the opportunity to service the Eastern Europe market which is seeing significant development currently."
The distributor is already working to on-board new vendor partners that will provide the momentum for it to achieve its 80% growth target in 2018.
Spectrami's operations in Turkey will be led by territory manager Gokhan Bas.
