Smartworld has signed an agreement with Poland's EkkinoLab to provide its range of parking and office solutions to customers in the UAE.
Under the agreement, Smartworld, a joint venture company between Etisalat and Dubai South, will provide the NaviParking and NaviWorkspace solutions to promote the development of smart cities in the region.
The NaviParking solution enables ‘Park-&-x' services, such as park-and-ride and park-and-shop to serve sectors including transportation, entertainment, hospitality, free zones and aviation. The solution provides a mobile to app to navigate users to parking spots within the customer's facility. This allows for parking services to support schemes such as Park&Fly for people using airports, Park&Ride for public transport links, Park&Charge to locate electric vehicle charging stations and so on.
The platform is also open to enable integration with City Open Data and third-party providers, to support expanded services.
NaviWorkspace is an extension of NaviParking, which provides users with office and work services, based on LED smart lighting positioning technology. The NaviWorkspace app allows users to access services such as time & attendance check in, meeting room bookings, office navigation or locating colleagues.
