Facilities management service provider Tafawuq Facility Management has launched a new paperless mobile maintenance solution.
The Tafawuq GO maintenance mobility solution integrates scanning, imaging, voice instructions and business applications into a mobile device.
The solution is being issued to all Tafawuq sites and will be in place on all new project deployments. Key features of Tafawuq GO include: full integration with SAP; scanning and identifying asset/equipment; ability to upload images and video; monitoring material inventory levels and conversion of voice instructions to text.
The company, a subsidiary of the UAE-based Eltizam Asset Management Group, says that the solution will create a substantial reduction in paper use and print consumables.
Tafawuq GO was create as a collaboration between the group's IT, technology and operations teams, and is part of the company's $5m investment program in next-generation property technologies. The initiative is also in line with company environmental goals and innovation agenda.
