The Insomnia Gaming Festival, one of the world's longest-running gaming events and popular in the UK, will be making its debut in Dubai on 17 October.
Promising a line-up of world class games on offer, Insomnia Dubai is set to step up the adventure and entertainment scene for gaming enthusiasts across the region. Fans can now save up to 30% by buying early release tickets that will go on sale on Dubai Calendar's website and app, from 23 June.
The Dubai leg will run from 17 to 19 October at the Meydan Grandstand, marking the 66th show of the Insomnia Gaming Festival since it was launched in the UK in 1999. Featuring a range of offerings including a Virtual Reality section allowing participants to experience VR gaming.
Gamers will also be able to compete in tournaments, and watch professional eSports gamers battle it out in real time. Fans will also enjoy a drone racing competition and play retro games, an area where they can go back in time to experience some of the best games of the past, in addition to several events and activities spread across the three-day show.

Other attractions at Insomnia Dubai will include a dedicated cosplay area, stage shows featuring gaming contests and interactive stage productions. Visitors can also enjoy ‘After Party' activities, an Expo; where fans can pick up some great gaming merchandise, the opportunity to see major gaming publishers showcase their latest releases.
