Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world's largest district cooling services provider, organised various training courses for its employees during the period January to July 2019. These courses were conducted as part of its annual training and development agenda, and benefitted to more than 200 employees in its workforce.
The training courses and programs represent a major part of Empower's annual strategy to raise the performance level of its staff to the highest international standards and to motivate them to continue gaining more knowledge and skills in district cooling.
The employee training workshops included various technical, safety and soft skill courses such as; supervisory skills, communication skills, data analytics, Oracle database security, parallel working environment system design, fire safety fundamentals and usage of fire extinguishers, district cooling for designers and owners, as well as maintenance and troubleshooting.
